David Smith has an eye for a good horse! He was not in the market for a new Sire, but the first time he laid eyes on CONDUIT he wanted him, bought him and the rest as they say is history.
2022 was his first year of competition and he won the Horse of the North, Rocky Rush, Flinders and Dalby Challenges and the resultant ASCA Horse of the Year title. Fast forward to 2024 and thus far he has won the Ridgelands 3 round Open Campdraft and the Paradise Lagoons Stallion Shootout.
Today Conduit & Josh are leading the Derby Challenge going in to the final and we wish them luck!
Conduit is a seriously good stallion with a depth of breeding. Not only is he by Conman, he’s o/o a top producing mare in Destinys Fancy Jewel, dam of multiple Open campdraft winner Jewelette and Jewel & Boon, the 2013 Cloncurry Classic Stockmans Challenge Champion.
