The Classic Ladies Foundation – New charitable arm to Landmark Classic

BACKGROUND TO THE CLASSIC LADIES FOUNDATION
Landmark have been instrumental in bringing together a small team of ladies that add a new stand alone charitable arm to the ever growing annual event the Landmark Classic Campdraft Sale held annually at AELEC Tamworth.

The new Classic Ladies Foundation aim to work together in the lead up to and during the Classic to ensure fundraising and donations to charity are conducted in a more structured manner than they have been in the past for much needed causes.

The fundraising will come through a number of ventures including:

• Monster Raffle – 11 Draws $15,000 worth of prizes – Tickets are $10 will be available at Landmark Classic Campdraft Sale Tamworth or send CLF a  message if you would like to buy tickets
• Merchandise Sales – building up over the next couple of years
• Charity Auction
• Social event at the campdraft finals and of course…some fun and entertainment for everyone whilst they are at Tamworth for the week.

Each year the Foundation will nominate different causes that will benefit from their work; this year they have nominated CareFlight & the Australian Cancer Research Foundation; these organisations have played a major role in the lives of several team members during very tough times who in turn would like to return the support to two fantastic causes.

Guidelines are being developed to use in the lead up to the 2017 event and future events that will enable other organisations to apply to be the beneficiaries of the Foundations fundraising; all applicants will be carefully considered by the Foundation Team.
