A great display of drafting again this afternoon at Warwick with the finals of both the Champion of Champions and the Ladies.
The Champion of Champions Final saw a big win for Luke and Leah Whitehead’s stallion, Bonlac Gigolo. With Luke and Leah not making the trip to Warwick, riding duties have been entrusted to Michael Hiscock, who piloted Gigolo to the big win. Bonlac Gigolo is a brown stallion, by Blue Moon Mystic and out of Bonlac Escort by Star Black Minstral.
Going into the final with 86 points, Michael made no mistake and with a further run of 89 the win was theirs by ½ point from Jackie Knudsen and Cab Sav. Paul Carlon and Heatwave were 5 points back on 169½ for third.
