In 2018, during one of his many trips to the USA Steven Hart got to view The Metallist working as a 2 yo with trainer Geoffrey “Spud” Sheehan. He decided immediately he wanted to take him home. He showed all the physical attributes Steven had been looking for and more, and his absolute blue ribbon pedigree chart (Metallic Cat x Moms Stylish Pepto) demanded attention.
Geoffrey agreed he would be an incredible addition to the Australian genetic pool and the rest as they say, is history.
