The 44th annual Dalby Australian Stock Horse Sale, the largest sale of its kind in the nation, was an enormous success. Registered bidders came from as far afield as Victoria, Northern Territory, Western Australia, New South Wales, across Queensland and even a phone bidder from New York.
Around 260 lots were initially catalogued but come sale day 228 passed through the sale. Tremendous considering the terrible drought conditions gripping some parts of Australia.
77% of the lots available sold for a total of just over $1.8million.
