If, like us, you are a big fan of Granite‘s luscious locks, you don’t want to be looking at the reel we posted prior to this post. Geez it’s raised some controversy, but he’s off to the campdraft arena with Matt Moffat and they had to go.
Unlike Samson there has been no loss of strength or power, he’s off to a phenomenal start. Last weekend at Alpha was his first draft and this weekend MOSTLY HILLS has seen him take to drafting like a pro. He ran an 89 (22 63 4) in the Maiden, remember this is just his 2nd start, and an 88 (22 62 4) this morning in the Novice.
It can be a difficult transition for cutting horses, “UNLEARNING” skills they’ve taken years to perfect, but not so for Granite. Connections couldn’t be more chuffed.
This combination is perfect we can’t wait to see what the future holds.
